• Tohir Sodiqov is an Uzbek musician, composer, and actor. Tohir Sodiqov is an accomplished artist who has been active in Uzbekistan for many years as a singer, songwriter, and composer for the "Bolalar" group. He has received prestigious awards like "Nihol" and "Tarona." He sings his songs in Uzbek, Russian, and English languages. Tohir Sodiqov is one of the pioneering artists from Central Asia to perform concerts in the USA and release albums on iTunes.
• Tohir Sodiqov was born on July 1, 1973, in the Old City neighborhood of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. His father, Bahromjon Sobirovich Sodiqov, passed away when Tohir was young. His mother, Gulnur Mansurovna Sodiqov, single-handedly took care of Tohir. Tohir attended School 41 in Tashkent from 1980 to 1990. He is married and has two daughters and one son. He currently owns the music recording studio "Kelajak Records." In the music video "From the Day You Left," Tohir appears with his family - his wife and two daughters. His disciples Ravshan Sobirov and Renat Sobirov are proteges of Tohir Sodiqov. His nephew is Alimjon Sobirov (Ravshan Sobirov's father).

In 1989, Tohir Sodiqov and his school friends Ruslan Sharipov, Bahodir Polatov, and Javokhir Zokirov laid the foundation for the "Bolalar" group. The group gained quick popularity in Uzbekistan with a hit song named "Bolalar" in 1989. Tohir Sodiqov produced for Ravshan Sobirov and the "Bojalar" group.
• The initial lineup of the "Bolalar" group included Bahodir Po`latov, Husan Sodiqov (Tohir Sodiqov's brother), Javohir Zokirov, Nargiza Zokirova, Ruslan Sharipov, Tofik Mordukhayev, Toir Odilov, and Tohir Sodiqov. Davron Gaipov, an Uzbek rock-and-roll musician at that time, influenced the members of the group, along with the famous Russian band "Laskovi May." The collaboration between "Laskovi May" and "Bolalar" is often acclaimed as one of the legendary stories of the '90s. Yuriy Shatunov from "Laskovi May" performed together with Tohir Sodiqov in Tashkent in 2009.
• The "Bolalar" group made their first significant stage appearance at the "Alpomish" Sports Palace (nowadays "O`zko`rgazmasavdo" center) on February 23, 1990. The group's debut album was titled "Are you surprised?" released in January 1990. Initially, Ruslan Sharipov was the artistic director of the group.
